Veteran Cowdenbeath goalkeeper signed for season 1951/52. Played a starring role in the defeat of Rangers in the League Cup, whilst still in the Second Division. After 26 appearances retired at the end of the season.
Goalkeeper Jock was one of the few footballers to play for all four senior clubs in Fife -- Raith Rovers, Dunfermline, East Fife and Cowdenbeath. Born in Inverkeithing, he began his playing career with Lochore Welfare before signing for Hearts, the Fife clubs, and Airdrie.
